Though we are currently one of the premier moving and self-storage companies in NYC, our beginning was a humble one.

Moishe’s began as a New York moving company in 1983 with one committed individual and one red van. By 1990, we had become the largest independent moving company in NYC with approximately 100 movers, 40 red trucks, and two storage facilities. Five years later, we were the largest moving company in the Jersey City and Tri-State area.
