Dr. Lynn Ratner New York

Lynn Ratner, MD is Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Neoplastic Disease at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NY, and is also Education Coordinator for Medical Oncology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He is the author of a 309-page medical handbook on breast cancer that is in its second edition. Titled Contemporary Diagnosis and Management of Breast Cancer, the book is used by medical and nursing professionals.

Dr. Ratner has often been named one of NYC’s Top Doctors and is a frequent speaker and presenter at medical conferences on the topics of breast cancer, lung cancer, and colorectal cancer. He regularly participates in clinical trials in a number of different cancer categories. From 2006 to 2010, he was the Principal Investigator for a trial of new medicine for the treatment of neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas and GI tract also recently participated in two major trials for non-small cell lung cancer and other trial for the treatment of Ovarian Cancer.

Dr. Ratner was recently interviewed on several news channels discussing the need for genetic testing in breast cancer and the heightened interest in preventative mastectomy. In 2020 Dr. Ratner was the honoree of the Physicians Attending Association award for 50 years of service at Lenox Hill Hospital.
