An ear, nose and throat specialist (ENT) is a physician trained in the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. They have special expertise in managing diseases of the ears, nose and nasal passage sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity and upper pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as structures of the neck and face. ENT is the oldest medical specialty in the United States.

Dr. Burnett specializes in medical and surgical treatment of a wide variety of ear, nose, sinus and throat conditions. He completed 9 years of post doctoral training after medical school, including a residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Penn State Hershey Center, a residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and fellowship training at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his medical school training at the New York University School of Medicine, and received his BS in Engineering from the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science.
